I am an assistant professor at the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, National Taiwan University. My research interests include the causes and consequences of polar amplification, sea-ice prediction, and climate dynamics and modeling.
|| 摘要（Abstract）:
The Arctic climate has undergone rapid changes under anthropogenic global warming. In particular, the Arctic sea ice lost dramatically accompanied with amplified air temperature warming compared to the warming in the rest of the world. In this presentation, I will go through recent Arctic climate change, review how climate scientists study Arctic climate change, and its role played in the Earth's climate system. To address the implications, I will further review its potential impacts on regional and global weather, climate, ecosystem, socioeconomics, and geopolitics.
